The Man Who Walked Around the World VS Justerini & Brooks

Have it ever happen to you, when you wake up in the morning, your mouth feel a bit dry, but yet you still craving for tingling sensation on your tongue?

You have to love the taste, the smell and the smoothness of whisky that are made. People need to show some appreciation for the whisky flavor that would melt on the tongue, while slowly devour it. Whisky always tastes better when it’s OLDER. The older a whisky, the smoother and richer it tastes. Obviously, the older the whisky, the pricier it get. Today, I’m will share my experience tasting Johnnie Walker Swing and Justerini and Brooks.

I had my first taste of Johnnie Walker Swing during my friend’s birthday. I was very amused with the bottle because it would swing left and right when you push it gently. JW swing contains 40% alcohol percentage with a unique scent. It’s very smooth when I had mine. Was trying to figure out the how old was the whisky but sadly could not find it because it’s not stated on the label of the bottle.

My second bottle of whisky, I got it when I was in Doha International Airport. There were many choices that available and it took me awhile to choose. Then I decided to buy a random new whisky that hard to search for in my country, which is a 15 years old J&B. Justerini and Brooks or also known as J&B is a blended Scotch whisky and is owned by multinational Diageo plc. J&B is a 15 year’s old blended whisky from Scotland.

The differences between Swing and J&B is that Swing has this end sweet taste while J&B is not really sweet but it more smoother than Swing. Both whisky taste better when it serve with ice and pour half glass of whisky.

Anyway, I prefer J&B because it is much smoother than Swing and the blend taste nicer. I HIGHLY recommend J&B 15year old for whisky fans.
